History of the Town Hall Building

In March 2000, March Civic Trust was able to purchase the old Town Hall building thanks to a donation of the then asking price by Joan and Peter Skoulding. The Trust then secured funding from various sources to develop the building as a community facility and work began in May 2004 on the first phase of the refurbishment. The refurbishment programme was finally completed in mid 2005.
